This product contains all the tools you need to author and build great technical reference documentation for .NET assemblies, COM components, databases, XSD schemas, Java projects, JavaScript, and web service documentation. It also includes free format help topic authoring functionality for tutorials, getting started guides, and other conceptual help.

HelpStudio

This is the natural choice for authoring end-user help to accompany a desktop application, comprise a website help system, or provide a procedural manual. HelpStudio includes a complete suite of conceptual help authoring support tools, including a glossary editor, project index editor, PDF booklet output, imaging tools and localization export and import.

Reference Documentation Authoring

Generate Help in any of the Microsoft compiled help formats, such as CHM, Help 2.x, and Visual Studio® 2010-2022 Microsoft Help Viewer.

Web Help

Output web-ready HTML files for publishing on a website or intranet, or viewing from a local directory.

PDF Booklets

Generate multiple PDF Booklets, each with its own Table of Contents and Index, using existing content you have authored for online help. Links, images, and widgets are converted automatically to be suitable for a printable output.

Publishing

Automate publishing of generated outputs to a website — Azure, IIS Web Deploy, FTP, and file system directory publishing targets are supported — or to a local or network directory path.

Project Tools 

Link and spell check, find-and-replace

Validate hyperlinks, “See Also” links, and spelling throughout a project, and utilize find-and-replace capability, including regular expression support.

Image Tools

Use the screen capture, image editing, thumbnail, and markup tools integrated with the application.

Glossary Editor

Create a Glossary Page defining commonly used terms and have the definitions appear as hover popups where they are used in your content.

Translation Export and Import
