Annapolis, Md., September 23, 2020 – Orbis Technologies, Inc., a global leader in providing component enterprise content management (ECM) and highly specialized cloud analytics software, announced this week the issuance of a new patent entitled, “Determining Digital Vulnerability based on an Online Presence” (US 10,785,250 B2).

This patent addresses methods to determine an individual’s or entity’s risk of being targeted by a cyberattack or cybercrime based on quantifying their online presence. The online information is evaluated for the presence of personally identifying information (PII) features, which are used to calculate a digital vulnerability (DV) score.
