The S1000D specification focuses heavily on electronic delivery. Your Technical Writers will struggle to compile Data Modules (DMs) in a logical way without significant manual editing and formatting. Contiem’s notusCSDB software solves these problems to enable your team to rapidly create, management, and publish S1000D compliant publications from a single-source S1000D data set.

Import SNS from XML or BREX or edit in the CSDB. The SNS breakdown can be used as a reference and a filter for DM listings.
Our software allows multiple projects with secure separation of content and teams. Each independent data silo supports multiple projects, with common users.
notusCSDB maintains a full history including action, user and timestamp, for every asset. You can view in work versions and roll back to earlier in work versions or even full versions.
Our software allows users to load content using a Data Module List (DML) or Data Dispatch Note (DDN) to specify the DMs to be added. Existing files and associated graphics are imported and DML entries with no associated files are created as metadata records.
Managers can assign assets for editing and reviewing to individual users or groups. A user’s workflow only contains their assigned work items. Authors can set time and percentage complete tracking bars, allowing managers to plan work remaining on a project and to help with task allocation between teams and individuals.
Available stylesheets include S1000D, ATA CMP, British Army AESP, Operator Crew manuals and Reference Cards. Additional custom stylesheets can also be developed if you have a specific format requirement not already available.
notusCSDB has out-of-the-box integration with industry leading IETM/P applications or we can provide and and integrated IETM/P solution to create a seamless authoring environment.
