In our work with leading brands and government bodies, we see organizations using DITA in creative and strategic ways to solve very different business problems. Some use DITA for compliance with construction standards across multiple jurisdictions, while in pharmaceuticals it supports reuse across packaging, instructions, and documentation, with localization built in from the start. Legal publishers employ it to power a “rollback” feature, showing laws as they applied at a particular time. For other organizations, DITA powers their multichannel publishing strategy, driving outputs that range from Word and HTML to JSON and even social media updates. This session will share these and other examples to inspire new ways of aligning DITA with your own content strategy, demonstrating that its value extends far beyond traditional technical documentation.
